Day 1: Arrival and Kickoff February 24th

  • 3:30 PM: Networking coffee break.
  • 4:00 PM: Facilitated Session: AI in Agriculture – Utilizing This New Technology
    • Explore practical applications of AI to save time on farm operations and decision-making.
    • Highlight tools and strategies for reducing administrative burdens and improving efficiency.
  • 5:30 PM: Group session: Share initial thoughts on applying AI and its potential impact.
  • 6:30 PM: Dinner at the lodge (prepared by the chef).

Day 2: Work and Collaboration February 25th

    • Group 1 (4 attendees) presents their challenges in 30-minute increments. Each attendee will receive group feedback and brainstorming support.
  • 10:30 AM: Networking coffee break.
  • 11:00 AM: Facilitated Session: Labor Challenges in Agriculture - Building a Resilient Workforce
    • Discuss strategies for overcoming labor shortages, improving retention, and leveraging innovative solutions like H-2A programs.
    • Attendees share personal experiences and brainstorm approaches to labor management.
  • 1:00 PM: Lunch at the lodge.
  • 2:30 PM: Business Problem Mastermind Session - Group 2
    • Group 2 (4 attendees) presents their challenges in 30-minute increments. Each attendee will receive group feedback and brainstorming support.
  • 4:30 PM: Outdoor Activity (Networking and Team Building)
    • A guided outdoor experience to foster deeper connections and provide a refreshing break from sessions.
  • 6:30 PM: Dinner at the lodge.
  • 7:30 PM: Evening social activity (optional): Relaxation, informal networking.

 

Day 3: Reflection and Next Steps February 26th

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast and networking.
  • 7:30 AM: Workshop: 30-Day Action Plan
    • Attendees consolidate feedback and ideas into a clear, actionable roadmap for the next 30 days.
  • 8:30 AM: Closing session: Share commitments, final reflections, and feedback on the retreat experience.
  • 9:00 AM: Departures.
